1. Unbox and inspect

   Take the RS V2, toolkit, and sticker out of the box. Inspect the rim, paddles, and connectors to ensure there’s no visible shipping damage.
   
   

2. Confirm base compatibility

   Make sure you have a MOZA direct-drive wheelbase (any current MOZA base is supported). Ensure its firmware is reasonably up to date via MOZA Pit House.
   
   

3. Power off the wheelbase

   Turn off your base and, if possible, disconnect power before mounting the wheel to avoid movement during installation.
   
   

4. Align the quick release

   Line up the wheel’s MOZA quick-release hub with the base hub, ensuring the splines and locking mechanism are aligned.
   
   

5. Push to lock

   Press the wheel straight onto the hub until it clicks securely into place. Gently pull and twist the rim to confirm there is no play.
   
   

6. Reconnect power and PC

   Plug the base back into power and confirm your USB connection from base to PC is solid.

1. Prepare your rig and base

    

   • Ensure your MOZA base is firmly mounted to your cockpit, stand, or desk clamp with no noticeable flex.

   • Double-check that your seat and pedal positions are dialed in before mounting the wheel.

    

2. Verify the quick-release interface

    

   • Check both the wheel-side and base-side QR for dust or debris.

   • Confirm there’s no visible wear or damage to the locking ring or splines.

    

3. Mount the RS V2 onto the base

    

   • With the base powered off, align the wheel hub with the base hub.

   • Push the wheel on until it fully seats and locks.

   • Apply a small twisting and pulling motion to verify a firm, play-free connection.

    

4. Route any additional cables (if needed)
