[Leonard Bernstein (1918.8.25-1990.10.14) was a star conductor who shared popularity with Karajan in the 20th century.) His passionate, emotionally charged, and soulful performances drew the sympathies of many, and he was loved by many with a charismatic following. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth, 50 titles are being released in a limited edition on UHQCD with a green color label coating and specifications that focus on sound quality. The relatively small orchestra used in Mahler's relatively pure and pastoral Symphony No. 4 depicts the peaceful feelings of human beings and the Märchen-like world. The solo soprano voice in the last movement sings of the joys of life in heaven. In this performance, Bernstein conducted the Concertgebouw Orchestra and used a boy soprano from the Tertz Boys' Chorus.
