Dapol OO 4 Plank B W Co 1114 Weathered

The 4 Plank Wagon was built by the GWR in the early 1900's.to determine which design would make the best general purpose open wagon. 200 wagons were built, however the design was not considered a success and was superseded by the later built 5 plank wagon which proved more versatile. Founded in 1983, Dapol originally entered the OO gauge model railway market but decided to withdraw from the UK's OO gauge scene on 2000. Two years later the company entered the N gauge market by launching its 14xx tank engine. The company has since re-entered the OO gauge and O gauge markets.
