Slash Brushed 2WD Short Course with LED - Blue

Full-scale short-course race trucks embody the spirit of Traxxas RC with their extreme 900+ horsepower racing engines full-throttle, dirt-roosting power slides, giant suspension travel, and big-air jumps. The Traxxas Slash brings all the action home so you can experience the high-speed head-to-head competition at the track or in your own backyard. The rear-wheel drive Slash is purpose built to fly over jumps and rip full-throttle through the turns. Slash hangs it out for an all new way to challenge your driving skills. The 4-wheel independent suspension has been carefully tuned to replicate the real world driving and handling experience as closely as possible. The scale appearing tires provide just the right amount of bite and thick, blinding clouds of dirt roost.

Modified Muscle
The Titan® 12T 550 motor pumps out incredible power with an integrated cooling fan to keep temperatures down. The XL-5 Electronic Speed Control provides smooth, reliable power delivery with EZ-Set® one-button setup and three different drive profiles.

Battery and Charger Included!
Slash includes a powerful 8.4-volt 3000 mAh Power Cell rechargeable NiMH battery pack to reach its blazing 30+mph top speed. A powerful 4-amp 12V DC fast charger comes in the box for quick charging in the field. An optional #2976 40-watt AC adapter (sold separately) transforms a common wall outlet into a robust power source for the included 4-amp NiMH fast charger.

Metal Gear Magnum 272™ Transmission
The Slash's Magnum 272 transmission features metal gears riding on ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings. Combined with the smooth 48-pitch gears, power transfers quietly to the durable telescoping U-joint driveshafts. The sealed gearbox protects the transmission components from dirt and rocks. Best of all, the Magnum 272 is built Traxxas Tough™ to handle massive brushless power without the need for costly upgrades

New LED Lighting
Slash now includes LED lighting as standard equipment for more fun after dark. Thick impact-resistant bumpers protect the lights against crash damage with fully-waterproof construction for all-weather fun.

Included Optional Pinion Gear
The Slash reaches its blistering 30+mph top speed on-road using the optional 23-tooth pinion gear (included). Out of the box, the installed 16-tooth pinion gear is just right for all-around, on- or off-road action.
