[Classical Masters No. 11] A collection of definitive and long-selling recordings from Warner Classics (formerly EMI Classics). The analog recordings are the latest remastered recordings from analog masters made by Abbey Road Studios and other overseas studios. The front cover uses the original overseas cover design. Commentary included. This trio of three members had performed together in various places around the same time as the recording, and had become a topic of conversation. All of them were in their 20s at the time, but their big, poised, and relaxed playing was already the stuff of great musicians. The youthful passion added to their performance makes it truly the strongest Beethoven performance.
