"Toi et moi" is French for "you and me". This ring is my take on the classic toi et moi ring (that traces back to the 17th century) with two gemstones that represent lovers side by side. This pictured ready to ship ring contains vintage diamonds (Old Euro cut; 0.79 total carats; VVS2/J color).

The Nightingale name comes from one of the most beloved birds in the world, and its symbolism has significant meaning for many people. Therefore, the name "Nightingale" symbolizes love and a strong connection to nature.

This ring was hand-carved and molded so that we can create additional rings. Details are done in the wax and in the 14k gold. The low bezel settings are hand-engraved and inset with milgrain details (applied by hand after the stones are set). A trailing of organic leaves make this band perfect for romantics and nature wanderers alike.

• Front setting size (including face of ring with leaf details): 16.2 x 14.3 mm (5.5 mm height)
• Each pictured diamond is approx. 4-4.2mm each (bezels are larger giving this ring a beautiful spread on the finger without being bulky or heavy)
• Engagement rings: strong options for daily wear include diamonds, moissanite, ruby, sapphire, and alexandrite; While we do offer other gemstones for this design, I recommend researching durability prior to selecting gemstones for a ring you plan to wear every day (you may also email any questions to nicole [at] knotandsplice.com for recommendations)
• Band width (not including the front part): 1.5–1.7 mm
• Band thickness: 1.7 mm (not including the front part of the ring)
• Currently a polished finish (can be finished with a matte/brushed finish...please note, as you wear the ring, it will burnish and become more polished with time); polishing and brushed finishes will wear as they are loved and worn.

• SHIPPING within the US: this fine jewelry order will be fully insured in the US via Third Party insurance (not noted on the outside of the package) with a signature required for delivery. There is no need to purchase additional insurance.

• International shipping: please select UPS expedited, USPS Priority Mail, or Priority Mail Express for this item. Your package will be shipped with full third-party insurance and a signature required.
