The original master tapes have been remixed by James Guthrie, the master of Pink Floyd's sound. Originally scheduled for release in 2018 but held back for various reasons, it will finally be released in 2022, the 45th anniversary year of the band.
Animals" is a concept album that is a scathing critique of social issues by replacing the world of humans with that of animals. The cover design of the album features a pig, which appeared in one of the songs and later became one of the band's icons, flying over the Battersea Power Station on the River Thames in London, which is so famous. The LP was a hit, reaching #2 in the U.K. charts and #3 in the U.S. The LP is a limited edition, imported vinyl with a newly designed obi and gatefold sleeve.
