About the Artist: Originally from Ukraine and currently based in Israel, Sveta Dorosheva creates hand drawn art on paper, merging mythical and traditional motifs from various cultures with her own contemporary ideas. Taking inspiration from art history, a local mix of cultures and the contradictions of human nature, the past is often juxtaposed with the present. She is currently working in the areas of narrative and editorial illustration, and art for books.
