Description:
After five and a half years since the release of "akiko" (October 2008), the long-awaited new album by the studio ensemble is finally completed! This album, the first album after the label transfer, is an extension of the sound produced with the full support of YMO up to the 80's. It is a high-quality and avant-garde electronic pop world that will make the EDM/Vocaloid generation of today groan. In addition to the sparkling new songs, "Phone Line" from their debut album "Japanese Girl" and a self-cover of "Zai Wo Dong Shonen," a song that has gained popularity overseas due to their outrageous performance on the YMO world tour, are also included. The first performance of "Katamoi," a song that Minako Yoshida provided for the 1976 classic album "Flapper," and a cover of Off Course's "Yes-Yes-Yes-Yes," arranged by Yoshida herself with a groove that has evolved even further from the yanokami version. The album features a total of 11 tracks, including "YES-YES-YES. The album features a variety of versatile arrangers including Yoshinori Sunahara, BOOM BOOM SATELLITES, sasakure.UK, AZUMA HITOMI, and others, and is a collection of songs from the 80's, 90's, 00's, 10's... since the YMO era. This is a great work that touches on the evolution and deepening of techno music and the true value of Akiko Yano.A milestone in Japanese techno, with its solidity, sound, and gorgeousness! Victor
