Original soundtrack for the latest title in the "Kirakai-kai" series "Kirakai-kai" is an action shooting game that first appeared as an arcade game in 1986. The player takes on the role of Saya-chan, a shrine maiden, and uses exorcism sticks and money to exterminate monsters in order to save the Seven Gods of Good Fortune, who have been kidnapped by ghosts. Subsequently, consumer ports and sequels were released for various hardware platforms. This title, "Kirakai-kai: The Mystery of the Black Cloak," is a sequel to the 1992 hit "Kirakai-kai: The Mystery of the Black Cloak" for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in Japan and "Pocky & Rocky" for the SNES outside Japan. The music for this title is composed by Hiroyuki Iwatsuki. It contains a total of 31 tracks of background music with melodies that evoke nostalgia. The booklet includes a commentary by Hiroyuki Iwatsuki on the creation of the music for this title.
