Vintage summer kimono top

This lovely top is made from vintage Yukata, Japanese traditional summer cotton kimono. Bright colour flowers against deep navy blue background are tie dyed with using shibori technique.

One of a kind.

Machine washable in cold water with a net but hand wash recommended.

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are imported from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes, smells, colour fade etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
