Whenever I have a piece of true Haute Couture pass through my hands, it is a treat. I find the best couture pieces go one of two ways - completely over the top or so subtly perfect that they are mind boggling when you start to look at each small detail. This is obviously the latter and every line and stitch is impeccable. Hand finishes and properly done inside and out to the last detail. A soft grey wool is shaped to a swinging sixties A-line with rounded shoulders and a high neckline. Stunning and in excellent condition. Bold slant set pockets adorn the front. The back is seamed and has three buttons matched perfectly to the tone of the dress. It is a teeny bit too small on the mannequin so on the proper sized girl will sit across the front perfectly. Amazing and in excellent condition

Lined in cream silk organza. Closes with buttons and a fine metal zipper. I find one pinhole size nick on the back of one sleeve that is stable and does not detract. Ribbon tag under label with hand written couture number.
