Comes attached with plain blouse fabric in maroon.
Material: Mulberry silk woven in Kanchipuram
Colour: Maroon and Beige
Saree Length: 5.50m
Blouse: 85cm
Each Kanchipuram silk saree in our Kalpataru range is hand-painted by master artists in Kalahasti who have carried forward this tradition over generations. The sarees are painted using natural pigments derived from tree bark, fruit peels and flowers, washed in running river water and bleached by the sun. Each line, stroke and variation is a testament to their skill and labour.
Note: Since the traditional Kalamkari process involves multiple rounds of preparation and washing, the attached blouse piece on this saree is slightly smaller than our standard allowance due to shrinkage. If you require more fabric or would like to tailor a custom blouse, please reach out to our team.
Care Instructions: Dry clean only, store in a cool dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
