This authentic saree is a handwoven traditional Bomkai silk saree produced by the weavers of Sonepur, Odisha. Sonepur is famous for its unique bomkai patterns. White and black colour yarns used to weave this saree. Bomkai motifs woven on the body with traditional rudraksha motifs have been woven on the border by dobby shedding device. Lots of skill needed to weave the bomkai motifs on the pallu. Saree comes attached with a black colour blouse piece.
