The T47 threaded BB cups are suitable for T47 frames and 24mm diameter spindle cranks. These cups have outboard bearings and are typically used in BB shells with a width of 68mm to 100mm. The cups are made of machined aluminum and screw directly into a T47 BB shell. The bearings are easy to maintain or replace. T47 BB cups are similar to standard BSA threaded cups, with the driveside cup having left-hand threads and the non-driveside cup having right-hand threads. When installing in steel or aluminum BB shells, use a quality grease and an anti-seize compound compatible with titanium BB shells.
