I found this one digging through a bin at the Boston Antiquarian book fair and just lit on it immediately--so boldly graphic, and also feeling somewhat anthropomorphic, with the windows (I am thinking perhaps this is a booth in a private dining car?) at center reading like eyes and making the whole thing seem like a hulking creature, which makes me think a bit of Philip Guston, too.  The Waddell Co. of Greenfield Ohio (founded in 1887) first produced coffee grinders and then everything from mousetraps to cash registers, to showcases, to post office fixtures. I can't find any reference to this "booth 1091" but it seems in general keeping, and I presume this was an in-house rendering, earlyish 20th c.
