The EMG 35TW is a versatile bass pickup that offers two distinct tonal options within a single 3.5" soapbar housing. Utilizing both ceramic and steel magnets, this pickup provides players with the flexibility to switch between a warm single-coil sound and a powerful humbucker tone. The integration of EMG's renowned preamp circuit ensures consistent performance across both modes.

In single-coil mode, the 35TW functions as a JCS pickup, delivering a rich and warm tone suitable for various musical styles. When switched to humbucker mode, it transforms into EMG's popular CS (ceramic steel) dual-coil, producing a big, aggressive sound with a pronounced mid-range. This dual-mode capability allows bassists to easily adapt their sound to different genres and playing techniques.

The included push/pull pot facilitates seamless switching between single-coil and humbucker modes, providing on-the-fly tonal adjustments without the need for additional equipment.
