Powerful, stealthy, sleekly beautiful, Tiger is a totem for success. Tiger is the Eastern equivalent to the Occidental Lion totem in many ways, being an animal associated with power, leadership, and royalty. Tiger is also seen as being an animal of passion, sensuality, and unfortunately for its survival as a globally endangered species, sexual capability. Tiger is the Spirit Guide for all of the Natural Magick Spirit Guide line, and ten percent of sales of any of this line is donated to World Wildlife Fund, which declared 2010 to be their Year of the Tiger, redoubling their efforts to conserve Tigers in the wild.
Because of the Tiger’s camouflage, stealth and grace, it is also given powers of shape shifting and invisibility. In Japan, it is seen as being one of the three animals that can shape shift into human form. There is no denying the beauty of Tigers and they have inspired fear and reverence in all cultures who have come into contact with them. The Indian goddess Durga is associated with Tigers, being said to be their mother, which is perhaps why she is allowed to ride one.
Tiger oil is elusive, sensual, spicy and androgynous. It is my own personal Spirit Guide oil and I am a Tiger in the Chinese Zodiac. I love its lush tropical fragrance. Tiger oil does contain synthetic Red Musk oil, a humane alternative to Civet Cat oil. Tiger is the Spirit Guide for all of the Natural Magick Spirit Guide line.
