Effects of this medicine
・This medicine constricts excessively dilated intracranial/extracranial blood vessels under migraine attack and puts them back to normal. It also reduces inflammation around the vessels by suppressing the release of the substance which causes inflammation, thereby improves symptoms of migraine.
・It is usually used to treat migraine attacks and not used to prevent attacks.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, for adults, spray once (20 mg of the active ingredient) into the nostril when migraine attack occurs. If the effect of this medicine is insufficient, spray an additional dose at an interval of 2 or more hours. The maximum daily dose is 2 sprays (40 mg).
・Strictly follow the instructions.
・Do not use this medicine for other than spraying into your nostril.
・Read the IMIGRAN Nasal Spray 20 instruction leaflet for users included in the package of this medicine thoroughly before use. If you have runny nose or stuffy nose, blow your nose before use. To keep this medicine clean, open the package just before use. A nebulizer contains only a single dose of drug solution, so do not test-spray before use. ・You may taste bitterness due to its active ingredient; this is normal.

・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
・If you have: heart disease, peripheral vascular disorder, hypertension, liver disease or kidney disease.
・If you have had: heart disease, cerebrovascular disorder or epileptiform attack.
・If you have: familial or sporadic hemiplegic migraine, basilar migraine or ophthalmoplegic migraine.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Precautions while taking this medicine
・After using this medicine, although extremely rare, serious heart problems may occur even in those without cardiovascular disease. If you notice abnormalities, contact your doctor immediately.
・Sleepiness may occur when you have a headache or after the use of this medicine.
・Avoid operating dangerous machinery, such as driving a car while applying this medicine.
・Triptans, including this medicine, may worsen headaches. If your headache does not get better after using this medicine, consult with your doctor.
・It is advisable not to breastfeed for 12 hours after using this medicine. If you are breastfeeding, consult with your doctor.

・Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature (1 to 30 degrees Celsius), away from direct sunlight and moisture.
