From favorite California producer, Cakebread, comes this stunning Chardonnay. Fruit for this white comes primarily from the cool-climate Carneros district at the southern tip of the valley, with approximately 40% from Estate vineyards. This Chardonnay is bright and creamy, with notes of golden apple, white peach, and pear on the nose, complimented by rich, full-bodied flavors of apple and melon, vibrant citrus, and mineral tones. The Napa Valley Chardonnay is a treat upon release but develops even greater complexity and appeal with 5-7 years’ aging.
