L-Tyrosine Pure Powder by NOW® (L-tyrosine)  is a relatively essential amino acid, needed for the production of neurotransmitters: dopamine, adrenaline and norepinephrine, as well as the skin pigment - melanin. Noradrenaline (norepinephrine) and adrenaline (epinephrine) are major factors in the body's response to acute stress and, together with dopamine, support positive mood and attention. In addition, L-tyrosine is critical for the proper functioning of the thyroid gland.

The L-tyrosine contained in this product is of pharmaceutical quality.

Directions for use:  Take 1/4 teaspoon in juice or water, preferably between meals, 1 to 3 times daily.  Recommended daily dose:  3/4 teaspoon (1.2 g). Do not exceed the recommended dose.
