Isis may be one of the most worshiped goddesses of all times. In the peak of her power her worship ranged far and wide across the civilized world. At home in ancient Egypt, she is a very complete goddess, covering both bright and dark aspects. Like Inanna, she is a descent goddess, having gone to the realm of the dead to retrieve her lover, Osirus. Their child, Horus, is often depicted with her as a suckling infant, in remarkable similarity to later Madonna and Child representations of Mary.

It is difficult to say enough, or just a little, about Isis. Her legends and authority span cultures and eras beyond her Egyptian dynasties. Our Isis oil pays tribute to her authority as a spiritual Queen of the many gods, and it does contain real Lotus absolute.
