About the Product: This liqueur breaks from traditional rum liqueurs, both in style and alcohol content. Roulaison's Amer is inspired by the beginnings of New Orleans' sugar cane history - French Jesuit missionaries were the first to establish sugar cane in Louisiana, being sent both sugar cane and citrus trees from their brothers in Saint-Domingue. Using some of what would have been found in the herb gardens of the time - chamomile, yarrow, eucalyptus, wormwood, bitter orange, among other ingredients - and built upon a foundation of rich, pot-distilled rum, Roulaison creates a complex yet approachable dram that can be enjoyed simply over ice, or in your favorite cocktail.
