Unlike other kits on the market that omit a regulator, this system includes one by design—because it’s absolutely necessary. The 6.4L’s K16 injection pump is not internally regulated like a CP3, which means it relies on consistent fuel pressure to function properly. Without a regulator, you risk low-pressure conditions that can damage the pump or compromise injection performance.
