Tomo XIV, an exquisite Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG Classico from Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella in the 2016 vintage, is a blend of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella, Croatina, Teroldego, Merlot, Molinara, and Oseleta. Hand-picked in mid-September, the grapes undergo a meticulous 120-day drying process, enhancing sugars and polyphenols. Vinified in February with a unique fermentation interruption to preserve sugars, the wine matures in oak barriques, stabilizing color and evolving aromas. Bottled for at least 9 months, Tomo XIV, with an alcohol content of 13% Vol, encapsulates Valpolicella's winemaking finesse and a harmonious blend of grape varieties.
