The Fascinating Life Cycle of a Frog
Frogs go through some amazing changes as they grow!

It all begins when an adult frog lays fertilised eggs that float on the surface of ponds or puddles. But life starts off a bit risky—these eggs are easy snacks for birds, fish, and insects.

The lucky ones hatch into wiggly little tadpoles with tiny gills. As they grow, they begin to sprout legs. Soon, they become froglets—with legs and a tail! Eventually, they turn into young frogs, fully formed and ready to hop.

Frogs are cold-blooded amphibians. Once they’re adults, they wait for the warmth of spring to begin the cycle all over again!
