The HDS Series Bypass Valve 12V is engineered for use with HDS bent axis piston pumps in constant-drive hydraulic systems — where the pump remains engaged even when hydraulic demand drops. Perfect for live drive PTO setups, this valve ensures the system remains efficient and protected during continuous operation.

Used with a live drive rear-engine PTO (REPTO), this valve is ideal for preventing heat build-up, pressure spikes, and energy waste in hydraulic systems where pump flow isn’t always required by the system.

The valve works by partially recirculating flow internally, reducing pressure and heat when the vehicle is idling or coasting, making it a vital addition to systems with no coupling or clutch to disengage the pump.
