ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are designed to deliver outstanding off-road performance while maintaining a smooth, controlled ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application with optimized length and damping tune. Featuring one-piece impact extruded aluminum cylinders, the 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks provide lighter weight, improved corrosion resistance, and a more uniform finish compared to traditional plated steel cylinders. Like all ICON shock absorbers, the 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable. For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICONs use of a 6061 billet aluminum manifold positioned below the top cap creates an internal Bump Zone that adds additional damping force to help prevent harsh bottom outs and maintain control during high velocity compression. For a more user-defined tune, consider models equipped with Compression Damping Control Valve technology.
