ALFA ARS-N19M consists of two parts- ALFA ARS-N19, an RP-SMA 9 dBi gain dipole antenna, and ARS-AS01, a magnetic docking base with 3 foot cable. It features an RP-SMA connector.

This is a 9 dBi gain rubber duck antenna for use with wireless adapters that have an RP-SMA connector on them. This adapter is made by ALFA Networks and has the ALFA logo on the product. Many PCI and some USB adapters have this type of connector. ALFA models AWUS036H, AWUS036NH, AWUS051NH, and AWUS036NEH are all compatible with this antenna, as is any other Wi-Fi adapter with an RP-SMA connector.

This measures 15" in height. It is heavy, so some wireless USB adapters, including the ALFA unit mentioned above, may need to be mounted or leaned against something in such a manner to prevent the setup from tipping over.

This unit is brand new in OEM factory packaging (non-retail). You will receive the antenna just as shown, exactly as pictured, along with the magnet base. It has no electronic parts and requires no installation on the computer- simply attach it to the RP-SMA connector on your wireless adapter and it will automatically work. This may seem basic, but just to be clear not all wireless adapters have an external antenna connector. You should only buy this if you know your adapter has an RP-SMA connector.
