Cnapán—an Irish word meaning a small lump or bump—is a simple, handmade pendant crafted from Irish bog oak sourced near Athenry, Co. Galway. The ancient (estimated to. be about 5000 thousand years old) dark wood has been shaped naturally, so no two pieces are exactly the same.

A small amount of 23.75kt gold leaf is added, giving a gentle contrast to the deep tone of the oak without overpowering it. The form is modest and organic, reflecting the meaning of its name.
