You are purchasing the service for the Installation labor + ELV emulator Board in your Porsche Cayenne.

The ELV emulator will "Emulate" or "Mimic" the mechanical movement of the ELV motor. This will also aid in correcting future problems related to the relays, and other moving parts that are prone to failure.

By installing the ELV emulator, your steering wheel will no longer become locked, and the issues associated with common problems of the mechanical ELV will be gone.

Note that for the emulator service to work, the original ELV module, Kessy and remote fob need to be sent to our office.

The set also needs to be in working condition. If there are any problems associated with the operation of the ELV, or codes like "Steering Lock Faulty", a diagnosis will need to be performed in order to assess if the ELV emulator service can be done.

Your immobilizer system will remain operational and will be not affected by the installation of the ELV emulator.

For this service send us the ECU/ DME, Kessy Immobilizer, Steering Lock module "ELV" and Keys with the Service Form filled out.

WHAT IS THE TURN AROUND TIME FOR THE SERVICE?

The service will take between 5-7 business days once we receive the ELV set at our offices.

The ELV is located in the steering column.

The Kessy Module is located above the throttle pedal.

Removal of the ELV is easy accomplished with the provided detailed instructions and simple tools from the hardware store.
