How does Gastro-Stop Plus work?

Gastro-Stop Plus contains two active ingredients for relief of acute diarrhoea and associated gas-related symptoms such as bloating, cramps and wind.

The first active ingredient, loperamide, works locally on the digestive system by slowing down the movement of the intestines. This means that there is more time for your body to absorb water and nutrients, which helps to relieve diarrhoea.

The second active ingredient, simethicone, works on the gas bubbles by helping release them thus reducing the abdominal discomfort and wind that’s associated with diarrhoea.

How do I take Gastro-Stop Plus?

• Gastro-Stop Plus can be used by adults and children over 12 years of age.
• Gastro-Stop Plus dosage: Chew 2 tablets initially, followed by 1 tablet after each loose bowel motion as needed.
• Do not take more than 4 tablets per day.
• If symptoms persist for longer than 48 hours, seek medical advice from a doctor or pharmacist.
