We spent a lot of time developing roast profiles for this Double Dark [aka. Italian Roast] that maintains the natural and unique flavor of the bean [coffee cherry seed] and give you the rich, bold, powerful, strong, majestic flavors you look for in this darker roast. Sit back, relax and enjoy a steaming cup of lusciousness with a glory cloud hovering over the surface of this amazing liquid happiness. This is the classic dark, oily bean that many old-timers love and long for. Make grandpa happy with this throwback to what he drank in the military where the GI's would percolate coffee 24 hours straight and just keep adding more grounds. Our version is what some would call a "Vienna Roast." We do great coffee flavor; not burned to a crisp post-campfire over-roasted charr-bucks stuff.

This is our darkest roast level. BUT, ours is about 10 degrees F less than many others, because we want you to still taste some of the natural flavor nuances of our lovely Arabica beans. We don't merely burn them to a crisp; like, ...many of the big name, HUGE companies. That is how they maintain a 'consistent' taste. Burn it all down! So it ALL tastes terrible, awful; like charcoal. Well, many people grew up only knowing the dark side and that is why they think it is 'normal.' Wow! Potent!!!
