Introducing the first release of Strathearn Highland Single Malt.

Using European oak and ex-sherry casks, this 3 year old expression was bottled in 2019 with no chill-filtration or additional colouring. The start of great things to come from Strathearn distillery.

Tasting Notes

Nose : Rich and bright sultanas, and sherried raisins alongside milk chocolate and toffee apple

Palate : Cherry, slight peppery spice alongside oaky, nutty goodness

Finish : Slight floral notes of pine needles alongside pepper, cinnamon and citrus

About Strathearn

Strathearn is a small, artisanal distillery in Highland Perthshire, Scotland, known for its handcrafted single malt whisky, which prioritizes flavor and quality. Founded in 2013 by Tony Reeman-Clark, the distillery was acquired by the independent bottler Douglas Laing in 2019 and produces a small-batch, uncolored, and non-chill-filtered single malt using Maris Otter barley and a mix of ex-bourbon, sherry, and wine casks. The distillery is also notable for its unique "acorn" bottle design and is considered a pioneer of Scotland's micro-distillery trend.
