Grapes for this limited volume shiraz come from the volcanic soils of our easterly facing Fordwich Hill vineyard.

Wild fermentation helps increase the aromatic profile and the suede-like tannins play an important supportive role. Minimal use of new oak (<20%) and predominantly large format French oak barrels (500L) make this a wine of great complexity and vitality.

The 2022 Fordwich Hill Shiraz pairs excellently with dishes such as dry-aged Wagyu beef, potato gratin, and Béarnaise sauce.
