The Passione Aglianico is a passionate expression of the iconic Aglianico grape, grown in the heart of Irpinia. Cantina di Enza, a small family-run winery, focuses on producing authentic, high-quality wines by working organically to preserve the land’s integrity and the grape’s true character. Aglianico, often referred to as the "Barolo of the South," thrives in this mountainous terroir, where volcanic soils and significant temperature fluctuations allow the grapes to mature slowly, developing complex layers of flavor.

Crafted from Aglianico grapes selected from the estate’s oldest vines, which are planted on volcanic soils at around 500 meters of altitude, the Passione Aglianico undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks. It is then macerated for an extended period to extract deep colors and tannins, followed by 12 months of aging in French oak barriques to soften the tannins and develop complexity. With its aging potential, this wine is known for its intensity and balance, evolving beautifully over time.
