Kia / Hyundai Chassis Control Module – Shift Interlock Repair

This is a repair service for the Kia/Hyundai chassis control module responsible for the shift interlock system, commonly found in Kia Sorento and similar models.

Common issue:

• The shift interlock fails to engage or release due to internal damage within the module.

Important note:
A frequent root cause of failure is the shift lock solenoid shorting out, which in turn damages the control module. If the solenoid has failed, it must be tested and confirmed before reinstalling a repaired or new module.

Additionally, OEM replacement modules from the manufacturer are not keyed electrically for orientation, meaning incorrect installation can cause immediate failure of the new or repaired unit.
